On-site Termination Support
On the day of termination, we will be available to provide you with pre-termination coaching that will address last minute considerations to help alleviate stress and surprises.
In addition, it is vital that your departing employee begins a relationship with his/her career transition coach. In the event of extreme emotional reactions to loss, our consultants are well trained to deal with the many variables that can arise on such a traumatic day.
Our experience has shown that third-party intervention helps to alleviate the impact of this unpleasant process on both the dismissing manager and the departing employee.
Post-Termination Debriefing
Our consultants will provide a post-termination debrief with the dismissing manager to ensure that he/she has an opportunity to reflect on this experience and determine, if appropriate, ways in which he/she will put closure on the event. This is not always necessary but we believe that all too often the deliverer of the news is pushed in the background in order to care for the employee. We recognize that both parties have experienced a difficult situation and each deserves attention.
